Ok Taco

My visit to OK Taco was an absolute revelation, and I can confidently say it's far more than "just OK." From the moment I arrived, the unique setup, resembling a food truck transformed into a vibrant outdoor restaurant, immediately charmed me. Even in Laredo's heat, their covered area was surprisingly comfortable, creating a fantastic ambiance that felt like a true fiesta. The service was top-notch – friendly, efficient, and genuinely welcoming, making me feel right at home. But let's talk about the food, because that's where OK Taco truly shines. These are, without a doubt, some of the best street tacos I've had in town. I dove into the Al Pastor, and it was nothing short of amazing; the meat was plentiful, perfectly seasoned, and incredibly flavorful. The Burracho beans were also a standout, a delicious complement to the tacos. I usually can devour a lot, but I honestly couldn't finish all four tacos due to the generous portions! Everything tasted incredibly fresh, from the ingredients in the tacos to the refreshing drinks. The cucumber lime drink, in particular, was a revelation – truly amazing and a perfect thirst quencher. OK Taco embodies authentic Mexican flavors that transport you south of the border with every bite. It's a hidden gem that delivers on taste, atmosphere, and service, making it a highly recommended spot for anyone craving genuinely great tacos and a fantastic dining experience.

Perfect little hidden gem. We always pass by and see the lights and how pretty it looks but last night was our first time there. We ordered panchos and the order was huge. My husband ordered 2 bistek and 2 pastor tacos and I had the beef alambres, both orders came with charro beans. Each order was $12 or $13. Everything was delicious and the beans were also large servings. Service was great. We had aqua de limon and aqua de pepino, also delicious. Our tab came out to $46. We took my entire plate and half of my husband's home because orders were so big. We will definitely be back. They also have the place decorated super nice, a lot of greenery, plants, super cute.

Very nice place to go with your family or on a date night. Food was delicious and staff is very friendly which makes ut even more pleasant. Great place!

The authenticity of their Mexican food is like a fiesta for your taste buds! ???????? The flavors take you on a journey south of the border, and the friendly staff make you feel right at home. Highly recommend this spot for anyone looking for a great meal with a fantastic ambiance!

The place you never knew. Was told about OK Taco and it didnt disappoint. Be prepared, as this is an outdoor seating but covered location. Menu is small but to the point with their offerings. Will be back.

OK Taco should really be called "Great Taco" because their tacos are far better than just ok. When you arrive you will see that it's a food truck type setting but turned into an outdoor restaurant, and even though you're in Laredo, it doesn't feel too hot sitting in their covered area. The drinks are amazing, especially the cucumber lime! I can't say enough about that one. Tacos are really good, freshly made, and with fresh tasting ingredients. I highly recommend coming by and enjoy some Great Taco.
